Are there any Restrictions on when I can Trade in Trader Career Path®/ Gauntlet Mini™?

You may trade beginning when the exchange trading opens for your particular asset.

Generally this is 5pm CT but may differ based on holiday or asset.

All positions and working orders must be closed by 3:50pm CT until 5pm CT.

Some assets have different market hours, so make sure to take into consideration the below information.

GF/HE/LE must be closed by 1:05pm CT until 5pm CT.

XC/XK/ZC/ZL/ZM/ZS/ZW must be closed between 7:45am-8:30am CT and then again between 1:20pm-5pm CT.

Trading can be conducted throughout the day except over public holidays and any times when the exchanges are closed.


What Are the Approved Times in The Trader Career Path®/ Gauntlet Mini™?


All CME (CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX) Futures assets can be traded. This includes the Micros.

Note that your base subscription includes one exchange and Level 1 (Top of Book) data (so that means you won't have DOM). You are free to pick either CME, NYMEX, CBOT or COMEX as the free exchange. Additional exchanges are payable and you would have to select them to be added on top of your base subscription when you make your purchase.

There is no Forex trading on any of the Trader Career Path® or Gauntlet Mini™ products.

Due to the high margin requirement and the 200% margin required by many FCMs for trading BTC (Bitcoin futures), the asset will no longer be allowed to be traded on live accounts and will not count towards your Trader Career Path® or Gauntlet Mini™ completion.

Due to the extreme volatility of the asset, Funding Trading disallows the trading of Ether Futures.


What Assets Can I Trade?


The Trader Career Path® is a futures trading evaluation.

It is the best choice for those who want a clear path towards trading futures professionally. It starts with an examination that tests your trading proficiency and encourages risk management and discipline. Upon completing the examination, you will join a prop trading firm, receive a trading account and then grow that account by meeting fixed objectives and withdrawing your profit.

Its unique feature is that you’re no longer locked in one account size. The Trader Career Path® is a place where you can prove your trading skills and get rewarded as you meet the goals. Start with a $25,000 or $50,000 account, and get funded with up to $200,000 or $400,000 respectively.

After passing the trading exam, you will receive a funding offer with a scaling plan.
Once you have withdrawn the entire profit target, you will be upgraded to a fresh, larger account size with ample drawdown space to work with.


What is the Trader Career Path®?


The prop firms process withdrawals once a week, on Wednesdays. Your withdrawal request needs to be emailed to the proprietary trading firm by 2pm on the prior Friday to ensure the withdrawal goes out the next Wednesday.

The minimum withdrawal amount is $100 (for live and LiveSim® accounts), and no withdrawal fees apply over $500. Please note that banks, payment providers and crypto exchanges may charge each transaction their own fees.

In case you are the holder of a LiveSim® account with non-professional CME status, there will be a one-time per-account activation fee of $139 deducted from your first withdrawal amount (thus your profits must be sufficient to cover both the minimum withdrawal amount and the one-time setup fee. You’ll need at least $239 in profits ($100 + $139 setup fee) to make your first withdrawal.

Otherwise, there are NO restrictions on withdrawing your profits after getting funded.

## Withdrawal Methods

Traders can withdraw from the prop firms using any of the following methods:

* Bank Wire
* Crypto withdrawal

The prop firms provide these withdrawal methods through a partnership with Rise, an international contract and payment management platform. The prop firm charges $10.00 per withdrawal (pass through fee to Rise), which is waived for withdrawals over $500.00.

## LiveSim® Withdrawals

There are two methods of obtaining a LiveSim® after completing Funding Trading evaluations.

* After completing a Gauntlet Mini™ evaluation and selecting the LiveSim® funding option
* After completing the Trader Career Path® evaluation and selecting the LiveSim® funding option

**Gauntlet Mini™ LiveSim®**
The maximum amount a trader can withdraw from a LiveSim® obtained after any size Gauntlet Mini™ evaluation is $4,000. In order to be able to withdraw the full $4,000, the trader must reach a profit of $5,000 (the prop firm deducts 20%). The prop firm will deduct their share every month or at every withdrawal, but never exceeding 20%.\
**Trader Career Path® LiveSim®**
The maximum amount a trader can withdraw from a LiveSim® obtained after a Trader Career Path® evaluation is the corresponding profit target with 20% deducted for the prop firm. There is no monthly deduction on LiveSims® obtained in the Trader Career Path® program.

What is the Withdrawal Policy?


We are licensed by DED under the activity of Education Support Services, trade license number 1053489, license issued on 14/04/2022 . Our courses have the KHDA license.


Are you Regulated/ Licensed?


Daily loss is based on your Profit & Loss, including both open (real-time/unrealized), closed trades and commissions. It’s calculated daily from 5:00 pm to 5:00 pm (Central Time).

The PnL resets at the beginning of the trading day and is taken from the balance you start the day with.

For example, if your trading day starts with an Account Balance of $25,000, and the Daily Loss is -$550. Imagine you have an open trade with a profit of +$500 but, then the trade goes against you, and you close it at -$100, you won't fail on the Daily Loss rule. Considering the Account Balance you started the day with ($25,000), your PnL is going to be -$100. 

However, if your PnL ever hits the -$550 limit (even if you don't close your position), your evaluation fails and will be suspended from further trading. In case you wish to retry the evaluation you will need to reset it.

You can view the P\&L column in R | Trader Pro's Trader Dashboard to see how close you are to your daily loss limit. For example if your daily loss limit is $1,100, then your daily P\&L cannot go below $-1,100.

The daily loss limit differs based on your selected account type.


How is My Daily Loss Calculated?


The Trader Career Path® candidates must adhere to a disciplined trading plan that incorporates the following rules. It is important to note that any deviation from the rules will result in an inability to receive an offer unless the program is restarted through a reset.

* Trade a minimum of 10 trading days

* Only trade during [approved times](/faq/what-are-the-approved-times)

What Are the Trader Career Path® Rules?


Once traders pass a Funding Trading evaluation, they have the option of continuing to the prop firm and trading on a live account, or trading on a simulated trading account, the LiveSim®.

The LiveSim® is a simulated trading account where traders can continue to hone their skills in a simulated environment, while having the benefit of being able to withdraw their profit. The simulated environment is populated by a live data feed, and can be traded on using a wide variety of trading platforms.

The LiveSim® is meant as an optional intermediary step for successful evaluation candidates, and is meant as a bridge between trading on a simulator and trading on a live account.

Please note that Funding Trading’s core mission is finding traders who can be profitable and a valuable addition to a proprietary trading firm. While LiveSim® is offered as an option, the proprietary trading firms, depending on your performance, may decide to provide a Live account instead of a LiveSim®.

What is the LiveSim®?


The Trader Career Path and Gauntlet Mini™ evaluations calculate drawdown based on the end of the day balance of the evaluation account. The drawdown is pegged to your positive account performance and is adjusted at the end of the day and updated after market close. That means if you increase your profit by $1.00, then your minimum account balance will also rise by $1.00.

## Example:

The account size is $50.000, with a Maximum Drawdown of $2000. When the account is opened with these parameters, the minimum account balance is $48,000.

### Day 1

After the first day of trading during which the account balance fluctuates between winning and losing trades, at the end of the day, your account balance stops at $51,000. Earn2Trade will adjust your minimum account balance to $49,000.

### Day 2

On the second day, your account balance at the end of the day is $50,500. The minimum account balance is unchanged at $49,000.

### Day 3

On the third trading day, the account balance at the end of the day is at $51,500. Your new minimum account balance is adjusted to $49,500.
This continues until your Maximum Drawdown reaches the starting balance of your account, or in this case, $50,000, at which point it will no longer rise.

**Notes:**

* The minimum account balance is only adjusted at the end of the trading day.
* Traders must be aware that open equity losses are taken into consideration when calculating whether or not the account failed on this rule. This means that if an open position dips your account balance below the minimum account balance, your evaluation attempt will fail.

What are the Differences Between the Trader Career Path® , Gauntlet Mini™ and the LiveSim®/Live Accounts


One of the main features of The Trader Career Path® is that the **offer of funding** for candidates who pass the test includes a scaling plan, meaning when funded traders withdraw enough profit from their funded trading accounts, the **proprietary trading firm** will upgrade the trader’s account to a higher amount of capital.

* Traders funded through the TCP25 can scale up to $200,000.
* Traders funded through the TCP50 can scale up to $400,000.

Funded traders who reach the profit target on the $200,000 account after taking the TCP25 or the $400,000 account after taking the TCP50 will receive a custom offer from the proprietary trading firm.

The minimum account balance you have to maintain in your account is calculated based on the end of day balance of your account. As a general rule, if your account balance shows a profit of $100 at the end of the day, the next day your minimum account balance will be increased by $100. Which Brokerage(s) Provide Live Trading on the CME?


The Maintain Consistency rule applies to both the Trader Career Path® evaluation and the Gauntlet Mini™.

The "Maintain Consistency" rule states that over the course of your examination, no single trading day can account for 30% or more of your total PnL.

For Example:

If your profit target is $3,000, it is a good idea to keep 30% of that as a benchmark number in your head. 30% of $3,000 is $900. If you profit more than $900 in a single day, that does not end your evaluation or make you fail the process. It just means that you need to trade more, until this single day equals less than 30% of your total profits.
Using the same example, if you profit $1,200 in one day, that's 40% of $3,000. You can calculate how much profit you need to maintain consistency by dividing your highest daily profit ($1,200) by 0.3. In this case, 1,200 / 0.3 = 4,000. So, if your total profit is over $4,000, the $1,200 daily profit becomes less than 30% of your total.

The Maintain Consistency rule does not apply on the LiveSim® and/or Live accounts.

The daily PnL is calculated into this rule regardless of whether or not the account balance is below or over the starting account balance.


What is the "Maintain Consistency" Rule?


The Progression Ladder limits the number of contracts that traders can open. Traders must self-regulate and limit the number of contracts that they open. As traders profit and increase their account balance, they may open more positions to take advantage of their additional capital, although it is not mandatory.

If traders open more contracts than their account size and profit levels allow, their evaluation will be blocked for the day. This does not require the evaluation account to be reset. During market close we will remove the block from the blocked account so that users can continue their progress the next trading day with the same evaluation account.

Important Notes/Examples:

Funding Trading tracks current account balance which includes open and closed equity intraday, on profit and on loss. Therefore, traders should build up a profit margin above the contract size they wish to trade, so that they have a buffer before they no longer can have a position of that size open. This will help prevent their account balance suddenly dropping to a level that doesn’t allow them to hold the number of positions they currently have open.

For example, if you have a $50,000 account, you are only allowed to open two contracts. It is possible to open a position with 2 ES contracts. It is also possible to open 1 ES and 1 CL positions. However, opening a third contract (of the same asset or other) will block the examination for the day immediately.

If you have a $50,000 account, you can open up to four contracts when you have $1,501 or more in profit in your account ($51,501 or more). However, you must make sure that your profits do not dip below this limit again while having these 4 contracts open, or or your evaluation will be blocked for the day immediately.

Please note that the following micro contracts: MES, MNQ, MYM, M2K, MGC, MCL, M6B, M6E, MHG can be traded for up to ten contracts and it'll only count as one contract towards the progression ladder. For example if the progression ladder allows you 4 contracts then you can either trade up to 4 ES, 3 ES & 10 MES, 2 ES & 20 MES, 1 ES & 30 MES or 40 MES.

Traders should maintain discretion and vigilance over their account capital so that they don’t get their examination blocked for the day and ensure that they are exposing themselves to a minimum level of risk.

Important notice:

1. Scaling up from one step of the Progression Ladder to the next is not real time, but happens during market close. That means that the maximum number of contracts you are allowed to trade stays static throughout the trading day. If/ when your realized profits surpass the required amount for scaling up, you must wait until the next trading day to trade the number of contracts that your updated account balance allows you. The maximum number of tradable contracts can be checked in your dashboard, under the Evaluation Overview tab, right after it updates during market close.
2. Users found to be in breach of this rule may undergo a review process within the evaluation. Depending on the severity and nature of the breach, manual adjustments to the user's account and progression status may be enacted at the discretion of the evaluation administrators.
3. Users who misuse or intentionally violate the Progression Ladder rule within the evaluation may have their evaluation removed without a refund and become ineligible for any funding opportunities provided by the evaluation.

What is the Progression Ladder on the Trader Career Path® / Gauntlet Mini™?


Innovative pricing structure - tailor your own subscription to your own specific needs by selecting essential components and excluding unnecessary ones.

The final product is the combination of the base product and any add-ons that you select at sign-up. For some add-ons it is possible to be added during your trading journey, that is,  mid-product.

Owning the base product in itself provides you with an evaluation, with a guaranteed funding offer from our proprietary firm partner after a successful pass.

## The base product

**What is it?** One month of subscription of the Trader Career Path® or the Gauntlet Mini­™ evaluation + Level 1 (top of book) data for one exchange.

**Refundable?** No.

The base product is the Trader Career Path® or the Gauntlet Mini­™ evaluation package licensed from E2T, whose cost includes 1 exchange and top of book data. Additional exchanges are $9 each or $25 for a bundle of four. Depth of market (Level 2 data) is $22 per exchange or $70 for all four bundled.

## The add-ons

### Resets

**What is it?** A reset will provide you with a new evaluation account but will not move your rebill date.

**Does using it provide a new account?** Yes.

**Price?** On sign-up, you can either buy one discounted reset at $60 or a bundle of 5 resets at the cost of $250.

**Purchase later?** You are free to purchase resets later on in your trading journey as well, at the standard price of $100 apiece.

**Conditions:** You can only buy one bundle of 5 resets for one subscription. If you cancel your subscription you forfeit your pre-purchased resets too.

**Refundable?** Resets are non-refundable.

### Parachute

**What is it?** The "Parachute" allows you to continue your existing trading progress rather than starting afresh after a minor rule violation (such as trading outside approved times or hitting the daily loss limit.) It is ideal for rectifying inadvertent errors for traders who would like to have their account reopened after they failed.

It reactivates accounts the next trading day.

When the Parachute Won't Work:

* If EOD (End of Day) drawdown is hit.

**Does using it provide a new account?** No. Contrary to a reset, it does not provide a new evaluation account. Rather, it facilitates the reactivation of the user's existing account without erasing their progress.

**Price?** priced at $60 initially and $100 mid-product.

**Purchase later?** Yes, the parachute feature can be purchased in the dashboard at a cost of $100 mid-product.

**Conditions:**

Each subscription can have one active parachute, usable only once per evaluation account.

After a standard account reset, the parachute can be repurchased but parachutes cannot be accumulated.

If you reset your account prior to using your parachute, it is not lost but goes towards the new evaluation account.

If you cancel your subscription you forfeit your parachute too.

**Refundable?** Parachutes are non-refundable.

### Rollback

**What is it?** The Rollback feature allows you to click a button and go back to your account balance as it was at the top of the day (Cash on Hand) and thus effectively "erase" or "cancel" a bad trading day as if it never existed. It is useful for a trader who doesn’t want to reset (and start a new account), but committed one blunder and would like the day to not have happened.

The feature resets your account to the top of day balance almost instantly (it might take up to 5 minutes).

When a Rollback Won't Work:

* If you fail your account (on EOD Drawdown, Daily Loss, etc.), you cannot use a Rollback.
* If the account is canceled or inactive.

**Does using it provide a new account?** No.

**Price?** Rollbacks cost $60 at checkout, $100 if purchased mid product.

**Purchase later?** Yes, the Rollback feature can be purchased in the dashboard at a cost of $100.

**Conditions:**

* One subscription can only ever have 1 Rollback active
* One evaluation account can only be “rolled back” once
* After a regular reset, the new evaluation account can be rolled back again.
* If you reset your account prior to using your Rollback, it is not lost but goes towards the new evaluation account.
* If you cancel your subscription you forfeit your Rollback too.

**Refundable?** No.

### Money-back guarantee

**What is it?** This feature, when purchased, will allow you to get your base cost (that is, the price of the evaluation package, not that of add-ons) refunded after a successful pass. (Example: If you are the holder of a 25K TCP account, the refund would come to $65, and if you are the holder of a 50K TCP account, it would be $95, while its cost would amount to $32.5 and $47.5 respectively.)

**Does using it provide a new account?** No.

**Price?** The cost of this feature is 50% of the base product price.

**Purchase later?** No, this feature can only be purchased at the initial sign-up.

**Conditions:** To request a refund of your base product price, you need to pass the evaluation, receive the certificate thereof and contact support.

### Educational content

**What is it?** We have a library of educational content licensed from Earn2Trade - including fundamental and advanced videos on specific topics and also webinars that are more in-depth, detailed and devoted to a larger subject.

**Price?** The price at sign-up is $25.

**Purchase later?** Yes, you can purchase this add-on in the dashboard too, at the price of $30.

**Conditions:** Upon purchase the whole content is unlocked for the users. If not purchased, you will get 3 sample lessons and a sample webinar.

**Refundable?** This add-on is non-refundable.

*We provide a subscription service with monthly rebills. Note that rebills occur on the same calendar day the original purchase was made and if the user subscribed on the 31st of the month, the next rebill will fall on the last day of the month.*

*Upon renewal of the service the base product will be charged to your designated payment method. The add-ons you purchase at the checkout (during sign-up) are one-off payments, similarly to the add-ons acquired in the dashboard mid-product.*


All about the Add-ons


Traders will automatically have live commissions assigned to their evaluation accounts - whether they have chosen the Trader Career Path® or the Gauntlet Mini™ account.

Live commission mirrors the commissions schedule as offered by the prop firms.
The cost associated with this commission schedule varies from asset to asset.

Some trading platforms do not display/calculate commissions by default. Always make sure you understand the commission structure of your account and check if your platform settings are correct before trading.


What is the Commission on the Funding Trading Evaluations?


If a candidate successfully completes The Trader Career Path®, they will receive a guaranteed funding offer from one of our **proprietary trading partners.** The offer starts traders who pass the TCP25 and TCP50 on an account of similar size. Traders may choose between getting funded on a Live or a **LiveSim®** account. In addition, the offer includes a **scaling plan,** which means traders can get additional capital from the firm by withdrawing their profit.

Funded trading accounts have the following rules:

* Profits can be withdrawn and are subject to an 80/20% profit split in the trader's favor.
* The **approved times** and **daily loss** rules still apply.
* Daily loss limits can be removed upon request after the lower threshold of the trader's maximum drawdown reaches the account's starting balance. (For example, after reaching $52,000 on a $50,000 account.) To do so, please contact the Helios support team.
* LiveSim® accounts use an **end of day drawdown.** Live accounts use a **trailing drawdown.** The drawdown limit is fixed to $194,000 for the $200,000 account and to $388,000 for the $400,000 account.
* Monthly data fees must be paid by the trader unless they already have their own data feed.
* Unscheduled absences of five consecutive trading days will result in account termination.

Funded traders who reach the profit target on the $200,000 account after taking the TCP25 or the $400,000 account after taking the TCP50 will receive a custom offer from the proprietary trading firm.


What Offer Will I Receive Upon Completing The Trader Career Path®?


The Gauntlet Mini™ is an intraday futures trading exam that guarantees trader funding by our proprietary trading firm partner upon successful completion. To pass the test, you must trade without breaking the rules for at least 10 days and reach the specified profit target.  There is no fixed end date, you can take as long as you might possibly need.  It is a subscription-based examination that lasts until you pass, cancel, or change your plan.

Why choose the Gauntlet Mini™?

There’s a limit to how much money you can make on a personal evaluation account. The Gauntlet Mini™ helps traders who have the skill but lack the capital to overcome this obstacle by providing them with access to funds in return for a share of the generated profits. Take the test on a simulated account and qualify for funding based on the chosen size of your evaluation account.

The objectives you must meet:

* Trade at least 10 days

What happens after passing the Gauntlet Mini™?

Candidates who pass the Gauntlet Mini™ will receive a guaranteed offer for a funded trading account with our proprietary trading partner firm. The size of that account is the same as the starting size of the Gauntlet Mini™ account you used to pass the evaluation. There are two types of funded trading accounts available:

* LiveSim® Accounts
* Live Accounts

### LiveSim® Accounts

LiveSim® accounts are paper trading accounts. From the trader’s perspective, they function the same as Live accounts, including withdrawing profits, but with a few added benefits:

* LiveSim® has a quicker setup. Traders can start trading them within two business days of accepting the funding agreement.
* LiveSim® traders with Non-professional CME status will pay a one-time per-account activation fee of $139 (covering all four CME exchanges and deductible from their first withdrawal). Those with Professional status will be charged $135/month/exchange.
* LiveSim® accounts calculate drawdown the same way as your Gauntlet Mini™ attempt. See the relevant FAQ explaining the drawdown calculation here.

LiveSim® is only available until you make your first $5,000 (minus the 20% profit split). After that, you will switch to a live account.

### Live Accounts

Traders who choose to start trading on a Live account cannot return to a LiveSim® account afterward.

* Live accounts take longer to set up because they require filing paperwork with a broker.
* Monthly data fees on Live accounts are $135 for each exchange, including the first.
* Live accounts calculate trailing drawdown based on intraday, open equity gains and losses.


What is the Gauntlet Mini™?


Gauntlet Mini™ candidates must adhere to a disciplined trading plan that incorporates the following rules. It is important to note that any deviation from the rules will result in an inability to receive an offer unless the program is restarted through a reset.

* Trade a minimum of 10 trading days

What are the Gauntlet Mini™ Rules?


If a candidate successfully completes The Gauntlet Mini™ they will receive a guaranteed offer of funding from Helios Trading Partners. The offer corresponds to the account parameters of The Gauntlet Mini™ account type they selected apart from the following key differences:

* Profits can be withdrawn and are subject to an 80/20% profit split in the trader's favor.
* Daily loss limits can be removed upon request after the lower threshold of the trader's maximum drawdown reaches the account's starting balance. (For example after reaching $52,000 on a $50,000 account.) To do so please contact the Helios support team.
* Monthly data fees must be paid by the trader, unless they already have their own data feed.
* Unscheduled absences of five consecutive trading days will result in account termination.


What Offer Will I Receive Upon Completing the Gauntlet Mini™?


Yes, of course you can.

After successfully passing the Trader Career Path® / Gauntlet Mini™ and receiving your funding offer, you will be required to fill out a W-8BEN form and identify yourself as the holder of a financial account in the US. The form requires your Foreign Tax Identifying Number (FTIN), which is issued to you by the tax jurisdiction of your residence. This is very important so you can be correctly engaged according to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and take advantage of any potential tax benefits if applicable. For details on taxation, we recommend you contact your tax advisor.

It's a very simple form to fill out and must be submitted along with relevant formal identification. You can do this for free for yourself.

I'm not an American/US Citizen, can I still get Funded?


You have two options:

* Connecting to Your Tradovate Account with Multi-Provider Mode Turned Off 
* or Connecting to Your Tradovate Account with Multi-Provider Mode Turned On

Follow the below steps if you wish to connect to Your Tradovate Account with Multi-Provider Mode Turned Off 

1. Firstly, to download the NinjaTrader Desktop platform go to [NinjaTrader’s website](https://ninjatrader.com/) and log into your Tradovate account on NinjaTrader's Account Dashboard, using your Tradovate user and password.

2\. Click the Download button in the left-hand window called “Download NinjaTrader Desktop”

This will download an Installer file to your machine. Locate and double-click that file to begin the installation process.

4\. Once NinjaTrader is installed, run it by double-clicking the NinjaTrader icon on your Desktop or by selecting Windows Menu > NinjaTrader.

5\. The software will prompt you to enter a username and password. Enter your Tradovate username and password and click Log In.

6\. Once logged in, a screen will allow you to trade in Live or Simulated Mode.

As you are participating in an evaluation, please choose “Simulation”.

All trades made on NinjaTrader Desktop will be synced with your Tradovate platform(s) and vice versa.

Follow the below steps if you wish to connect to Your Tradovate Account with Multi-Provider Mode Turned On

If you are currently using NinjaTrader Desktop, and have enabled Multi-Provider Mode, you will not see the login screen upon loading the program.

1. Instead, you will need to create a connection for your Tradovate account by selecting Connections > configure from the Control Center of NinjaTrader Desktop:

2\. Then, select NinjaTrader as the Connection Type by double-clicking it to create My NinjaTrader. Please note that you can change the name to Tradovate or anything else. Enter your Tradovate username and password, along with the trading mode (Live or Simulated) on the right-hand side:

You can now select this Connection from the Connections menu within NinjaTrader Desktop's Control Center.


How to Connect your Tradovate Account to the NinjaTrader Desktop platform?


The evaluation account (either the Trader Career Path® or the Gauntlet Mini™) needs to be registered in the trader’s own name. Indicate your name as it appears in your identification documents.

By entering your name during the purchase process you declare that it's your own name and that you are not trading on behalf of anyone else. The name you indicate represents the permanent owner and user of the account and cannot be changed during or after the evaluation.

Users who indicate either incomplete or unrealistic names (for example “Mr D T”, “Rachel P.”, “Rich Guy”) will not be accepted for funding following a successful pass.

You can only sign up as a natural person for the evaluation.

You cannot sign up as an LLC neither for the evaluation, nor for the funded account with the prop firm.


Can I Change My Name on the Evaluation?


To connect your Tradovate account to TradingView please follow the below steps.

Steps to complete in Tradovate

1. First, make sure to activate your TradingView access by making a login to Tradovate and enabling the TradingView connection.

a/  In your Tradovate platform, go to "Application Settings" in the top right corner and double click on the icon.

How to Connect your Tradovate Account to TradingView


## What is this Add-on? 

The "Parachute" lets you keep your trading progress after breaking a minor rule, such as the approved times or the daily loss rule and once applied, it will clear the failure. 

It's perfect for traders who want to continue trading their current evaluation account after breaching the approved times or daily loss rule. 

## How does it work?

It reactivates your account the next trading day with the same balance you had at the moment of the rule breach (so it won’t change your account balance in any way, like resetting it to Cash on Hand).

## When won't the Parachute work?

If EOD (End of Day) drawdown is hit, you cannot use a Parachute.

## Will you get a new account with a Parachute? 

No. Contrary to a reset, it does not provide a new evaluation account. Rather, it reactivates your existing account without erasing your progress (such as the number of traded days, minimum account balance).

## How much does it cost?

You can purchase it for $60 initially and for $100 mid-product.

## Can you buy it when you are in the middle of an evaluation?

Yes, the Parachute feature can be purchased in the dashboard at a cost of $100 mid-product.

## Further conditions of use:

Each subscription can have one active parachute, usable only once per evaluation account.

After a standard account reset, the parachute can be repurchased but parachutes cannot be accumulated.

If you reset your account prior to using your parachute, it is not lost but goes towards the new evaluation account.

If you cancel your subscription you will lose your parachute too.


How does the Add-on “Parachute” work?


## Can you use these add-ons if you broke a rule of the evaluation?

* A rollback CANNOT be used if you have failed any rules.
* A parachute CAN be used exactly for that, if you have failed a rule:  the approved times rule or the daily loss rule - but cannot be used if you failed the EOD drawdown rule. 

## How is the account balance impacted if you use either one of these Add-ons?

* If you hit the daily loss limit and use the Parachute, your balance won’t change by the next trading day - you will continue with the same balance that you had at the moment of reaching your daily loss max.
* If you are close to hitting your daily loss limit, you can use the Rollback, but only if you haven’t yet hit your daily loss limit. It will reinstate your account balance to what you started that day’s session with.

## What’s the overall effect of these Add-ons?

* The Rollback serves to reinstate your account balance to cash on hand on the given day.
* The Parachute serves to remove a failure by the approved times rule or by the daily loss rule, but if you fail the EOD drawdown rule, only a reset can salvage your evaluation.

## How many times can you use these Add-ons?

Either one of the above two features can only be used ONCE for your evaluation account.

After a reset, you can purchase the Rollback/ Parachute again, as with the reset you get a new account.


What is the Difference between a Parachute and a Rollback?


## What is this Add-on? 

The Rollback feature allows you to click a button and go back to your account balance as it was at the top of the day (Cash on Hand) and thus effectively "erase" or "cancel" a bad trading day as if it never existed. 

It is useful for you if you don’t want to reset (and start a new account), but committed one blunder and would like the day to not have happened.

## How does it work? 

The Rollback resets your account to the top of day balance almost instantly (it might take up to 5 minutes at most). It needs to be used in the same trading day before market close to take effect.

You can’t use it:

* If you have failed your account on any rule (on EOD Drawdown, Daily Loss, etc.)
* If your account is canceled or inactive.

## Will you get a new account with a Rollback? 

No, it doesn’t create a new account, it will only revert your balance to Cash on Hand in your current evaluation account.

## How much does it cost?

Rollbacks cost $60 at checkout, $100 if purchased mid product.

## Can you buy it when you are in the middle of an evaluation?

Yes, the Rollback feature can be purchased in the dashboard at the cost of $100.

## Further conditions of use:

* One subscription can only ever have 1 Rollback active
* One evaluation account can only be “rolled back” once
* After a regular reset, the new evaluation account can be rolled back again.
* If you reset your account prior to using your Rollback, it is not lost but goes towards the new evaluation account.
* If you cancel your subscription you will lose your Rollback too.


How does the Add-on “Rollback” work? 


Yes, you can have up to three multiple accounts with the prop firm. You may only be funded with one LiveSim® account active at any time, although you can have multiple Live Accounts (live brokerage accounts through the prop firm). Note that it may require a longer compliance process. The prop firms do not provide a leader-follower or other trade copy system between the accounts. We suggest only trading a single account for the best results and to avoid concentration issues.

If you would like to keep an account stowed away for later use, you must disclose when you intend to use the spare account and stick to a timeline you and the prop firms establish together. Should the account setup you require incur extra costs, the prop firms may require you to make that payment before setting up the accounts.

Please note that on the Trader Career Path® or Gauntlet Mini™ accounts, you will have to use a separate email address for each account. Your trading accounts (including your evaluation - Trader Career Path® or Gauntlet Mini™, LiveSim® and live accounts) may be assigned to one data feed user.

### Trade Copiers Forbidden


You are not permitted to use trade copiers to pass multiple accounts. If you pass the exam and are found to have used trade copiers to pass your accounts, you will receive only one account (LiveSim® or Live Account). You will not receive a refund on any accounts that you used trade copiers. Data fees are paid to the CME and the data feed provider for each Trader Career Path® or Gauntlet Mini™ account, and these fees cannot be refunded once paid. You are not permitted to use trade copiers on your live / LiveSim® account once you have passed, either.


Can I Have Multiple Trader Career Path®, Gauntlet Mini™ and Live/LiveSim® accounts?


Note that your monthly rebill charge does not include a free reset (nor for traders taking the Trader Career Path®, nor for those taking the Gauntlet Mini™).

In case you have failed your funding evaluation and do not intend to purchase a regular reset, please make sure to cancel your subscription before you get rebilled.


Do you provide free resets?


# Three Types of Drawdown

Drawdown determines the minimum balance you must maintain in your trading account to keep it active.

Traders enrolled in the Trader Career Path® will encounter three types of drawdown at various stages of their trading journey. Traders enrolled in the Gauntlet Mini™ will encounter two types of drawdown at various stages of their trading journey.

* End-of-Day Drawdown - Calculates and updates your minimum balance based on closed positions at the end of each trading day. It is used in all evaluation accounts and funded LiveSim® accounts.
* Trailing Drawdown - Calculates and updates your minimum balance continuously, based on both open and closed positions throughout the trading day. It is used in Live accounts.
* Fixed Drawdown - Sets the minimum balance at a fixed level that never changes. It applies upon reaching the largest funded trading account in the selected Trader Career Path® plan: $200,000 for the TCP25, with the minimum balance fixed at $194,000, and $400,000 for the TCP50, with the minimum balance fixed at $388,000.

Notes:

1.For traders who choose a LiveSim® account after passing the Trader Career Path® evaluation, LiveSim® is only available until they reach the profit target designated for their account size and withdraw their 80% share. After that, they must scale up to the next Live account size.

2\. For traders who choose a LiveSim® account after passing the Gauntlet Mini™ evaluation, LiveSim® is only available until they make their first $5,000 (minus the 20% profit split). After that, they must switch to a Live account.

3\. While the End-of-Day Drawdown is updated at the end of each trading day, traders can still lose their evaluation or funded trading account if their open equity falls below the minimum balance in real time.


Drawdown types


You can reset the Gauntlet Mini™ or Trader Career Path® in the dashboard by going to the Evaluation Overview tab and clicking the "Use" (if you have one already) or the "Buy"  button in the "Reset" column.

Take into consideration that a reset won't restart your billing period, it will simply revert your account back to its original starting balance and remove any failed rules so you can start over.

Note that the monthly rebill charge does not include a free reset for either one of the evaluation programs.


How do I Reset my Gauntlet Mini™/ Trader Career Path®?


A fixed drawdown is a type of drawdown that sets the minimum balance for your trading account at a fixed value that does not change. Fixed drawdowns are used in the $200,000 and $400,000 funded trading accounts for traders who pass the Trader Career Path® evaluation and scale up their funding offers.

* Traders who pass the TCP25 and reach the $200,000 funded trading account have their drawdown fixed at $194,000.
* Traders who pass the TCP50 and reach the $400,000 funded trading account have their drawdown fixed at $388,000.

Funded traders are not allowed to reach or dip below the minimum balance set by their fixed drawdown.


What is a Fixed Drawdown?


A trailing drawdown is a drawdown that is pegged to your positive account performance. That means that if you increase your profit by $1.00, then your trailing drawdown will also rise by $1.00. All rules, including trailing, use closed and open equity intraday.

For example, in a $50,000.00 account your starting trailing drawdown is $48,000.00.

On your first trade as you make $100.00 in profit it will bring your account balance to $50,100.00. This correspondingly raises your trailing drawdown to $48,100.00.

This continues until your trailing drawdown reaches the starting balance of your account, or in this case $50,000.00, at which point the drawdown will no longer trail above $50,000.00.

Traders who pass the Trader Career Path® or Gauntlet Mini™ challenges and go to a Live account will have to adhere to the trailing drawdown rule as described above. What is a Trailing Drawdown?


Withdrawals are managed by our funding team and not our regular support.

Withdrawals are processed once a week, on Wednesdays through Rise.

To make sure your withdrawal request gets processed on Wednesday, please send your withdrawal request by 2 PM CT the previous Friday.

Any withdrawal request made after this point in time might only get processed one week later.


How To Request a Withdrawal?


This article will give you an overview of what happens when candidates pass The Trader Career Path® or The Gauntlet Mini™ trader funding evaluations.

1. Please contact us at either contact\@fundingtrading.com or in a live chat if you believe you’ve passed, and we’ll check for you. We are not screening for passes.
2. After we confirm that you meet the requirements, we will send you a certificate to congratulate you on passing, and we’ll forward your results to our proprietary trading partners.
3. Our partner firm will reach out to you to confirm your acceptance of being funded in a LiveSim account (for the moment we are not offering live accounts yet) and they will send you your offer. You will need to sign the offer and send them documents to verify your address and identity to continue.
4. You are free to trade your funded trading account as you see fit as long as you follow the rules, and you will be able to withdraw your share of any profit you start making from it.

In our experience, this entire process takes 5-7 business days on average. However, since it depends on both the trader who passed the test and the third parties mentioned above, the exact time it takes to get set up may vary.
